Membership in International Shinbudo
Association is FREE! We charge no annual fees, licensing fees or anything
similar. Also, ranks are free - we do not charge any tests, exams, promotions or
rank registrations. All good willing people ready to
co-operate in ISA by attending ISA Games and bringing contestants (or
participating as contestants) are warmly welcomed. Please note:
1) if you are not interested in our
sport competitions, DO NOT CONTACT US.
2) if you are not going to bring
your competitors to our annual events, DO NOT CONTACT US.
The
International Shinbudo Association is a friendly group of people (individuals,
clubs, organizations) willing to participate on joint sport events (currently
"International Shinbudo Games", in the future maybe to be renamed into "World
championships"). There are three ways of "qualifying" for membership in ISA:
1. Participate on annually organized International
Shinbudo Games (next ones April 10th 2010, Serbia). If you come with at least 1
(one) competitor in any of our disciplines, you will be listed as national
representative. Your membership remains active next two years, i.e. you can be
absent the following year, but it is expected from you to appear at least once
every two years on international tournaments.
2. Participate on smaller international event attended by at least 2 (two) ISA
member countries (you can organize such event, or be a guest to any other ISA
affiliated national group). You will be listed as ISA member immediately after
you provide photos and videos from this event (on a CD, DVD or uploaded on your
web site, YouTube etc.). Your membership will be valid for next 2 (two) years,
providing that you appear at least once every two tears on major ISA events.
3. Organize your national Shinbudo Games, which will cover both Sport Kenjutsu
and Sport Jujutsu disciplines. This competition should gather at least 50
contestants from at least 3 towns/cities. Same as above, as soon as you provide
photos, videos and a written report available online or sent to ISA HQ, you will
be listed on ISA web site and ISA Cert will be sent/given to you. Again, at
least once every two years you must appear on major ISA events.
